Vibe Edge
The premier wall-mounted media radio from StudioOne. Featuring a sleek tablet interface, PIN security, and over 200 server-updated stations.
Quick Start Guide
Get the music flowing on your land in four steps. Note: Group-owned land requires specific permissions.
1. Unpack
Touch the box to open and move contents to your inventory. Rez your radio on land you own, or on group land that you have object deeding permissions on.
2. Deeding
If on group land, follow the Deeding Protocol. The radio cannot change parcel audio on group-owned land without this.
3. Select
Touch a Genre button, then select a station from the list on the right. Touch Volume (top right) to toggle the stream on/off.
4. Secure
Open Settings to set your security. Default PINs are 0000; we strongly recommend changing these. Alternatively, set the radio to Standby when not in useāthis locks the screen so only Admins can wake it.
Media Setup
Enable Media Autoplay
To interact with the media-based interface instantly without manually clicking the screen every time you enter the land, you must enable Media Autoplay.
- Open Viewer Preferences (Ctrl+P).
- Select the Sound & Media tab.
- Ensure "Media auto-play" is set to "Enabled".

- Frame: Choose frame color: White (Tintable), Grey, or Black.
- Auto: Change the Standby image.
- Auto Standby: Radio Interface turns OFF if owner leaves the parcel for 60s. (Prevents unauthorized access if PIN locks are turned off). This does not turn the stream off.
- Auto Wake: Radio Interface turns ON when owner arrives. Checks for owner every minute.
- NOTE: Auto Wake will not work if you manually turn the radio to Standby while in the room.
Troubleshooting
Silent Stations: Streams are server-driven. If a station is silent, the station host is likely down. Please try another station.
Forgot PIN: As the owner, simply click the bottom-center menu button. The dialog box will display your current PIN codes at the top.
PIN Timeout: The timeout setting (e.g., 24 hours) is reset if you relog. You will be prompted to enter the PIN again upon your first use after a relog.
"Rez Fail": If rezzing fails, the item may disappear. Simply check your inventory or relog to see it back in your inventory.
