StudioOne Pose Stand - Slimline V5
A consolidated posing system featuring persistent memory, height adjustment, and a dual-source lighting rig (Side & Front) with advanced projector capabilities.
Quick Start Guide
Get set up and shooting in seconds.
1. Sit
Right-click the stand and select Sit. The system will automatically align you to the default height (0.90m) and and begin playing the first animation in the inventory.
2. Menu
Touch the stand to open the Main Menu. From here you can swap poses, adjust height, or access the 💡 Lights sub-menu.
3. Hide
Click Trans in the Main Menu to turn the stand 100% transparent. The stand remains clickable even when invisible.
4. Light
Enable the Side or Front lights via the menu to illuminate your avatar. Settings are saved automatically.
Dual Lighting System
The V5 stand features two independent light sources. You can configure them separately using the Edit menu.
Side Light
A standard point light source useful for general fill lighting or rim lighting.
Front Light
A directional source that faces the avatar directly. This light supports Projector Mode.
Configurable Parameters
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Intensity | Controls the brightness (10% to 100%). |
| Radius | How far the light travels (1m to 20m). |
| Falloff | The rate at which light decays. Lower numbers (0.25) create a sharper, harder light. Higher numbers (2.0) create a soft, diffused look. |
| Hues | Select from presets (Warm, Cool, RGB) or enter a custom LSL vector (e.g., <1.0, 0.5, 0.0>). |
Projector Mode
The Front Light can be converted into a projector to cast shadows or patterned light. Access these settings via Lights > Front > Advanced.
FOV (Field of View)
Controls the spread of the projection (0.5 to 3.0). A wider FOV covers more area but may reduce perceived brightness.
Focus
Adjusts the sharpness of the projected texture (5m to 20m). Match this to your camera distance for crisp shadows.
Ambiance
Adds ambient light to the projection, softening the shadows (-20 to +20).
System Controls
Height Adjustment
Use the ⬆ Height and ⬇ Height buttons in the main menu to adjust your vertical position by 0.05m increments. This is useful for hovering avatars or high heels.
Access Control
Limit who can use the stand:
- Owner: You only.
- Group: Anyone in the same active group.
- Public: Everyone.
Chat Commands
You can access the menu remotely using channel 11.
/11 pose
Note: If you have changed the object description of the stand, you must append it to the command.
Example: If description is "female", type /11 pose female.
Troubleshooting
- Projector not lighting up? Ensure there is a valid texture inside the Pose Stand's inventory content.
- Need a factory reset? Go to Help > Reset to restore all lights, height, and access settings to default.
