Overview

Elevator Teleporter

A high-quality 7-destination transport system featuring smooth door motions, custom 2K textures, and immersive sounds.

Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to ensure your passengers have a smooth ride. Note: Experience setup is mandatory.

1. Experience

Open World > About Land > Experiences. Add the StudioOne experience to the Allowed list. This enables auto-teleporting.

2. Place

Rez an elevator on every floor you wish to service. Stack them vertically or place them anywhere in the region.

3. Landmarks

Create a Landmark for each floor. Right-click the elevator > Edit Linked > Select a Button > Drag the landmark into its Content tab.

4. Rename

Click the Name Label panel inside the elevator car. Type a short name (max 8 chars) into Local Chat to label that floor.

Simulation: This is a teleporter, not a physical lift. It does not move up and down. To create a realistic building, simply place a static elevator copy on every floor!

Land Experience Setup

To enable the teleport script, follow these steps on the land where the elevator is rezzed:

  1. Open World > Parcel Details (or About Land).
  2. Navigate to the Experiences tab.
  3. Click Add and search for StudioOne.
  4. Select it from the list and close the menu. Done!
Configuration

Setting Destinations

Landmark Installation Guide

Instruction: Edit Linked to select a specific floor button.

Installation Steps:

  1. Right-click the elevator and select Edit.
  2. Tick the Edit Linked checkbox in the build menu.
  3. Click the specific Floor Button (1-7) you want to set.
  4. Open the Content tab of that button.
  5. Drag a **Landmark** from your inventory into the button's content (Leave the existing script and notecard alone).

Naming Floors & Access Control

🏷️ Naming Destinations

Click the Set Text area on the inner panel to name your floors. Names are limited to 8 characters to ensure they fit correctly on the display. This feature is restricted to the Owner.

🔐 Access Permissions

Open the Notecard inside each individual button to set who can use that floor. Type one of the following in the notecard:

  • PUBLIC (Everyone)
  • OWNER (You only)
  • GROUP (Group members)

Customization & Modding

The StudioOne Elevator is designed to be integrated into your own builds.

What you CAN remove:

  • The outer white wall (to build into your own structure).
  • Ceiling light and door arrows.
  • The location names panel.

What you CANNOT remove:

  • The Call Button, Inner Buttons, or Doors. Unlinking these will break the scripts.
  •
  • Note: Resizing the doors will break their movement (see fix below).

Fixing Doors After Resizing

If you resized your elevator and the doors aren't functioning correctly, follow these steps to reset them:

  1. Enable touch: Right-click the elevator and tick Edit Linked. Select all 4 doors and change the Click to option in the build menu to Touch (default).
  2.
  3. Reset Direction: Long-click (click and hold for 1-2 seconds) a door to open its menu. Go to Settings > Direction and set it to Dir. Y-. Repeat for each door and test. Once fixed, change the "Click to" action back to None.
  4.
  5. Stop Buttons Moving: Open the door menu again via long-click. Go to Settings > Movement and set each direction (Set X, Y, and Z) to 0.
  6.

Re-Texturing: All components have modify permissions. You are free to re-texture the elevator to match your décor.
