Smart Security Lighting
A versatile lighting system featuring high-quality projector lights, shadow support, and advanced sensor tracking with obstacle awareness.
Grouping & Zoning
You can pair unlimited lights to a single switch. This allows you to create "Zones" where one click on the control panel activates an entire garden, driveway, or room.
How to Pair Lights
Lights must be assigned to a specific switch on the Control Panel (3-switch and 5-switch panels included) before they can be used.
The Pairing Process:
- Click the Screen on your Control Panel and select Pairing.
- Choose a Switch Number (e.g., Switch 1).
- Now, click the physical Light you want to assign and select Pair.
- Repeat for any other lights you want on this same switch.
- CRITICAL: Return to the Control Panel, enter the Pairing menu again, and click Done (or Finish) to save your configuration.
Lighting Modes
To change a specific light's behavior, click the light itself. Each light in a group can have a different mode!
Always On
When the switch is toggled ON, the light stays on permanently until the switch is flipped off.
Sensor On
When the switch is ON, the light only activates when an avatar enters its detection range.
Always Off
The light remains off regardless of the switch state. Ideal for maintenance or disabling specific bulbs.
Access Controls
Control who can interact with your light panels via the General Tab in the panel's Edit menu:
- Owner: Always has full access.
- Group: Allows members wearing the active group tag to toggle switches.
- Public: Anyone can use the control panel.
Technical Notes & Limitations
Obstacle Awareness (Sensor Mode)
The sensor logic uses Raycasting to determine line-of-sight. It detects "Bounding Boxes" rather than visual meshes.
- Alpha Textures: The sensor cannot "see" through transparent textures or windows. It treats these as solid objects.
- Bounding Boxes: If an object has an oversized physics model (bounding box), the light may not detect an avatar even if you can visually see them.
